Welcome to Mr. Collins' Web Page
As a former graduate of St. Paul, it is an honor to be teaching at the school which opened many doors in my life. I am privileged to be returning for my fifth year as the junior high language arts teacher. I am also a graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Secondary Education and English, Language, and Letters from Walsh University in 2007 and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Literacy from the University of Akron.
During the course of the year, each grade level will be learning about grammar, the writing process, different types of essay writing, the research process, speech and communication skills, and interactive journal writing. The information page on the website will list student assignments, projects, and classroom updates. Also, please stop by the gallery page to look at photos and videos of student work.
